Disaster Stories – It's All Relative #5

It's All Relative

For the Featured Fiction prompt this week the suggested genre is Disaster-Thriller.

It struck me as I was creating the theme, that real life can often be far more frightening than fiction.

With than in mind, for this week’s non-fiction element, I want to hear your disaster stories. It doesn’t matter whether the event happened to you or someone you know; sometimes we remember a traumatic event because of a simple desire to reach out. It can be a humbling thing to witness the way entire communities come together at times of great need. Perhaps you have an uplifting tale about something you and your community did to fight back.

Here are a few guidelines:

  1. Create a post based on the prompt and provide a pingback or link in the comments section.

  2. Any form of non-fiction is accepted.

  3. You can use the prompt in any way you see fit, as long as the post is based (loosely) on the topic.

Thanks in advance for your participation.
